I am glad I am able to inspire some people with my portraits. If my drawings can inspire people to work towards their goals honestly, through practice and hard work, then I am very grateful. But if this become an inspiration or an idea for one to gain popularity or to get useless compliments then I feel a bit ashamed.

Honestly, I don't know consider this or any of my drawings in my gallery amazing because it looks like a photo. It is not about being a human copy machine.

.... This picture brought tears to my eyes.. The passion you put into this drawing can be felt. The sensation given by this art, is that of modest, pure honesty. Any flaw that could be seen in this (seen by only the most skeptical critic) is a beautiful mistake that is one of the things which makes this drawing so very breathtaking.. This Your rendition of Ruki makes me want to examine my own artistic theory in hopes of perhaps inserting such a peaceful aura into my own works... Your deviation made my day, and I believe I can now sleep soundly, knowing that there is at least one being out there who has such a love of art as you. Thank you for creating this.

Don't downgrade yourself simply because you draw from a picture! All the best artists use picture reference! Honestly, hun, when I saw this in the search results, and even when I clicked on the actual picture, I had to read the description to actually know that it was drawn and not just a modification of the picture. It takes talent to convert or "copy," as you put it, with this much eye to detail and shading. And believe me, I'm speaking from experience. I tried to do a pen drawing of Ruki, its in my gallery. It doesn't even stand up to your work!

You - not an artist but only a "human copy machine"?
No, dear, I must contradict! You are nothing less than a copy machine; you draw so wonderful pictures which are full of life because of your skills. Look at paintings from the old European artists (I mean the famous pics in the world´s best museums): there are details, there is a person shown as lively as possible. Some portraits look so real as if they were in 3D.
You are able to do what lots of people (me included) would like to be able to (draw, paint, make fine portraits not just some scratching...) - so, please, take this a an honest and well-thought compliment. It´s not useless because it should show you that you´re appreciated. Don´t be too humble; it´s nothing but justified to be proud of the talents which we are given.
